I am interested in working my toy poodle in the Club Class for the fall 2018 session. I would like to have an email or phone number for someone who can connect me about how and when registration is done for the OCA.
My poodle is about 11 months old. We have passed the AKC CGC evaluation. I would like to continue in competitive obedience with her. I have experience training other dogs in obedience and agility and have earned AKC titles with them.
Please let me know how to proceed. By the way, I am planning to attend the Asheville Kennel Club show June 9 & 10. I hope an OCA will have a booth there. ??
Thanks for any information you can offer.

Hi, Catherine:
Lisa Bucki, OCA Club Secretary here. Sorry we didn’t respond earlier; we more typically interact with the public via Facebook and email, so none of us had checked for comments recently.
Our Club Class is currently for OCA members only. Generally, to become a member, we ask that you take one of our Public class sessions, attend two of our meetings, and then formally apply for membership and pay the annual membership fee. We do have a Public class starting September 13. I just activated the registration information on our website.
If you want to discuss your situation further, please contact our Club President, Colleen Hogan, at [email protected].
